In 2022, Banyan partnered with Jason Grouette to target opportunities within the Personal Protective Equipment, Engineered Safety Equipment and Industrial B2B space.

Jason is a former 3M Executive who since 2005, has led various business units in Canada and the USA, ranging from $100M to >$1.5B. Most recently Jason led 3M’s N95 pandemic response across Canada and the USA while leading the Personal Safety Division.

Jason has engaged with Banyan Capital Partners to find and acquire up to 100% of a business together in the industrial B2B space, with a particular focus on safety.

Who are we looking for

  • Experienced business leaders and operators with a proven track record of creating value
  • Industry specialists or market generalists with 10+ years of experience in C-level or leadership positions in management, operations, marketing, or finance

To be successful, prospective partners will have

  • An appetite to become company executives for Banyan’s future portfolio companies
  • The ability to identify strengths, weaknesses and risks in an investment and develop a strong angle or thesis
  • Experience with pre-investment due diligence and post-investment value creation initiatives
  • A willingness to invest a meaningful amount of capital relative to personal net worth into a transaction
  • A desire to work closely with a dynamic private equity firm across the full spectrum of origination, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities
