Simon is Managing Director, Partner and Head of Investments at Banyan where he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day leadership of Banyan’s investment function including pipeline management, investment selection and execution, and asset management across the portfolio. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Simon was a senior executive of TRU Simulation & Training (a Textron Company) and its predecessor Mechtronix Inc., a global manufacturer of Full Flight Simulators. At Mechtronix Inc. Simon held the positions of Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, Simon was a Vice-President with Richardson Capital Limited where he was responsible for analyzing, structuring and executing investments as well as providing support and guidance to portfolio companies.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, an MBA in Finance from the University of British Columbia and is a CFA charterholder.
