Simon is Managing Director at Banyan where he is responsible for originating, evaluating and executing transactions as well as managing multiple portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Simon was a senior executive of TRU Simulation & Training (a Textron Company) and its predecessor Mechtronix Inc., a global manufacturer of Full Flight Simulators. At Mechtronix Inc. Simon held the positions of Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, Simon was a Vice-President with Richardson Capital Limited where he was responsible for analyzing, structuring and executing investments as well as providing support and guidance to portfolio companies.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, an MBA in Finance from the University of British Columbia and is a CFA Charterholder. Simon is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Rack Attack and a Director of Oakcreek Golf & Turf.
